MyTekton is run by Disordered Media. This page says what we hold about you, why we hold it, and how to make it go away. We don't sell your data and we don't hand it to advertisers.

What we hold

Your account. You sign in with Google, so we get the email address on that account and an account number to tell you apart from everyone else. We never see your Google password.

What you make. Your Homes, the props on them, and everything you put in the Library, the Gallery, Peek and the Theater. Pictures and files you upload. Anything you write in a comment, a guestbook, a footnote, or a headline. Whatever you send to somebody's Doorstep.

What you do here. Who you follow, what you love, what you put in your window, and what you play in the Arcade. View counts on posts.

Your settings. Your picture, your blocked tags and accounts, and whether you have asked to see mature content.

Notifications. If you turn on notifications, your browser gives us a delivery address for that device so we can send them. Turning notifications off removes it.

Basic web logs. Our host records ordinary things like IP addresses and browser types to keep the site running and to stop abuse.

What is public

Your Home, your username, your picture, and anything you post in the rooms are public. Anyone can see them, including people who are not signed in, and search engines can index them.

Your email address is never shown to anybody. Neither is anything you send anonymously, and that really is anonymous: nothing on it can be traced back to you, not even by us.

Who we share it with

We use Google Firebase to hold accounts, data and uploads, and to send notifications, so it sits on Google's servers. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which parts of the site people use.

Apart from that we share nothing, unless the law makes us or somebody is in danger.

Getting rid of it

You can delete anything you make at any time, and you can delete your whole account from your settings.

Deleting your account removes your Homes, your posts, your comments, your uploads and your settings. If somebody else has put one of your posts in their window, that post stays where they put it, but it stops pointing back at you.

Backups can hold copies for a short while after that, and anything anyone else has already saved or screenshotted is out of our hands.

Children

MyTekton is not for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has made an account here, email staff@disorderedmedia.com and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change any of this we will update the date at the top, and say so in the announcements if it matters.

Asking us about it

Email staff@disorderedmedia.com, write to us on the support page, or find us in our Discord server. You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
